Hello 6th Grade Students!
This week we read an excerpt from Maya Angelou's autobiography in which she describes her wonderful brother, Bailey, and how much she loves him. In a well written paragraph use first-person narration to describe a person. Use specific details to show why this person is important to you.
Bailey is a helpful, kind, and protective brother to his sister. He always stands up for his sister. He loves his sister and helps her. He is a good brother so I think thats why Maya Angelou wrote an autobiography about her brother.
ReplyDeleteIt's impossible for me not to right about my mom. She helps me with everything, drives me everywhere, and well she just plays such an important role in my life. She has a solution to everything. She doesn't like causing problems and loves solving them. She is so kind and thoughtful oo and can't forget hilarious. My dad also has a solution to everything. He try's really hard and never gives up. My brother, Jack, is also a huge part of my life. I would say he is kind, thoughtful, talkative:) like me, and well a really good b-ball player.
ReplyDeleteI have to write about my mom as well, she has had such a powerful impact on my life. She is the most determined person I have ever met and she has taught me to never give up "there is always a way" she says. She is an amazing role model and I can't put into words how much I love her!! On the less serious side, she makes the funniest jokes and she has a great sense of humor. I am so thankful to have her in my life, and I hope God will keep her healthy and happy, thats all I want! Aside from my mom my father who taught me the best players in the sport of basketball :P also he is super fun and I love to spend time with him! Oh and how can i forget my little brother Azad who showed me how to play video games(I am better that him now :P).

I have to say my mom because she is so helpful, she taught me to stand up for myself and how to do many things like cook and much more as well as my grandma too. My brother helps me with everything too just like bailey helps Maya My brother Viken helps me.
ReplyDeleteI love my whole family soo much but if I had to choose it would be a mix of my family but mostly about my grandpa. My grandpa has shown me to never give up and that he always has my back just like how i have is back. My family teaches me and inspires me in different ways. My family has always helped through everything and anything!
ReplyDeleteMy mom she is always on my side. Yes, we go through difficulties but we always stick together through thick and thin. Everytime something goes wrong, moms on the rescue to save the day! She is a role model to me, teaching me everything i need for when i grow up and how to control, make, and do with my life. Like my job or universty or even what to do and not to do. She doesnt want me living my life with people picking at me . She wants me to live a worry free life where my classmates wont be as mean or selfish as some of my classnates. She is a hero to me no matter what i say or do to her, she will always love me.
ReplyDeleteI would have to write about my mom because she is amazing. My mom works everyday and then comes home to take care of us even if she doesn't feel good. My mom is always nice, fun, and loves cooking. My mom does everything for me when i make a mess she cleans it up, when i get my things dirty she washes them, and she still seems to find extra time like bailey. No matter how much i bugg my mom she will love me, i will love her too.

ReplyDeleteand when they're happy, they would share they're happiness with me. My mom always makes jokes and makes me laugh. My dad is really nice and kind to me(he also gives me money when I need it). My sister's always help me and teach me right from wrong. They all help me so much, that I can't fit everything in a small paragraph. I don't know what i would do without them
The most important people to me is my family. One reason is because they take care of me and are always there for me whenever I am in need of them. I always enjoy being with my family because they all make me feel good about myself. Another reason I love my family most importantly is because they are very fun to be around!
