The Bracelet

Hi everyone, 

After reading "The Bracelet" we discussed how the bracelet was a symbol of Ruri's friendship with Laurie. Do you have something that is a symbol of your friendship with one of your friends? If so, explain what it is and what it means to you? Did you lose it, at some point, like Ruri or do you keep somewhere safe. Explain your Answer.

    I get a lot of special gifts from my friends, but the one that is a sign of friendshhip is the one i got from Aram who left the school. He gave me an ordinary hat and watch , but since he left the school its very special to me. I keep it in a safe place.

    i get alot of special presents from my friends. the one that meant the most to me was paulina's present. she got me NBA tickets. i still have the tickets and i will cherish it forever.

    I have had a lot of presents from my friends, cousins, or family. But the one that was most meaningful was an 8th row ticket(almost courtside) to a Lakers game, from my sister. Fortunately the Lakers won the game. :)

    I don't wear too much jewelry so i don't have any emotional attachments but... i have one cupcake necklace, one of my best friends Paulina gave me, that i love.

    Alexia,carla, did those gifts really mean that much to you.
    The gift that means the most to me is a little winnie the pooh plaque that carla got for my birthday. [Its says "we'll be friends forever won't we Pooh?' asked Piglet. "even longer" pooh answered.] It has a lot of value to me but no value to anyone else. It sits on my desk and I read it every day. I will cherish it forever. <3

    I'm not into jewelery alot so my friend Raffi k has given me a very special thing that i keep it in a safe place.He hasn't given me anything important yet but just because he did not give me nothing that does no mean he is not my friend.Raffi is always there to protect me,he is never against me,he always hangs out with me,and he always helps me when I have problems.

    ONe day at school Raffi k gave me a keychain with my name on it and that was very unique to me because it had my name on it and he had got it when he went on vacation. And i still have it today.

    On day in 5th Grade at school, on my Birthday when i walked through the door my friend Kiana popped out and yelled SURPRISE!!!.In her hand was a wrapped gift. When I opened it I saw a pretty Bracelet. I loved that moment even if she didn't bring a gift, I was so happy she remembered, and was there to celebrate with me.

    When i was 5 years old my grandpa gave me a neck ales and i kept it till now. he pasted away when i was 6. Now i wear it all the time and when i wear it i remember my grandpa!!

    i don't really have something that symbolizes my friendship with someone because friends are already a symbol of friendship. and i do not need a present so that i can know that i am friends with someone.

    i would have a deep feeling of that item that my friend gave me because i am not going to see her for a long time and you will always picture that person. i would probably keep it some where safe so i dont loose it and know where it is

    The thing I mostly cherish is a gift I got from my best friend Emma who moved to haleb. It was a bracelet to symbolize our friendship. She also put her favorite charm on it and I will cherish this bracelet forever

    about 4 years ago my uncle gave me a chain bracelet with my name on it. his and my aunts name were on the back. then 2 years ago my uncle died from stage 4 gal bladder cancer. i have that bracelet in a special place in my room and when i go anywhere including school, sometimes i where it.

    my friend sofia and i have a special bracelet.every chain link represents our link of friendship, i hope we will be friend for as long as can be.every time i look at it i remember all the laughs we shared.

    sofia osmanian: Nicolette and I have a bracelet that represents our friendship, and almost everyday i try my best to wear it. She gave this bracelet as a symbol as our friendship, and I will always charish it.

    sofia, nicolette, and i have a bracelet that represents our friendship and i willl cherish it forever she gave it to us last year so we could remember each-other forever and never fall apart :) <3
